Natural Methods to Cure Lung Cancer

Recent developments in medicine and technology have had a big part to play in altering popular conceptions about many subjects. Cancer is one such area that has benefited from the giant advances in medical science. One recent research claims that traumatic events experienced in early life increases the chances of developing lung cancer in later life.

It says that children who go through extreme stress in childhood become more prone to harmful behaviours such as smoking. Excessive smoking may lead to development of lung cancer.Researchers in the University of Oklahoma have developed a new form of heat treatment to be used in conjunction with traditional chemotherapy. This treatment is capable of destroying large breast tumours without the need for a mastectomy.

Developments in Cancer Treatment

Until now, most women with large tumours would lose part or most of their breast. This therapy is a major advancement for women in advanced stages of cancer, as it will kill the tumour without the loss of the breast. The World Health Organisation has now officially declared tanning beds as carcinogens. Lawmakers in the United Kingdom have already made a move to ban teens from using tanning beds.

The study says that the use of tanning beds by individuals under the age of 30 increases the risk of melanoma by 75%.On the other side of the spectrum, a recent review by the NHS claims that there is no convincing evidence that routine breast screening checks have saved lives. Also, as a result of the screening, many thousands of women receive an erroneous breast cancer diagnosis each year and are made to endure unnecessary treatment and emotional trauma.
